The Valley View Medical Center is a full-service medical facility built on 22 acres and is a 114,000 s.f., structural steel building clad in EFIS and masonry with some pitched metal roofing that features significant daylighting in the hospital’s common areas. The building contains 42 private patient rooms, five large operating rooms, newborn nursery, diagnostic center and emergency departments. This medical center also delivers a new concept to rural Utah: the Routine Diagnostic Center. This center brings several common diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, blood draws, pulmonary tests and others to the patient instead of requiring the patient to navigate several different areas of the hospital. This assists patients who may need to visit several different areas in the existing hospital to receive the tests. A large concourse area provides patients, their families and our staff with a comfortable and beautiful place to visit or rest. The concourse connects the two main hospital entrances and runs adjacent to the medical office building. This area has been designed so that natural light will fill the area during the day.
