This hospital, located in the mountainous Heber Valley in Utah and serving a
growing community, is an outpatient facility covering 50,000 square feet. The project includes ten surgical suites, a clinic and recovery rooms. The structural steel building is clad in EFIS and white ceramic tile with a mostly pitched metal roof that adds
significant daylighting to the hospital's interior. The facility later needed to expand due to the increasing demand of the facilities Okland had built two years earlier. The new addition includes an outpatient area, physical therapy unit, trauma area and four medical/surgical rooms. Nine more beds were also added in the expansion. The continued expansion of the HVMC to meet the needs of this rapidly growing area of Utah added to the facility that Okland had built three years earlier. This 8,180 square foot addition includes an a new surgery and recovery addition, surgery support and lounge area, and an expansion to the out patient clinics bringing the total square feet for the hospital to over 54,000.
