To meet the needs of this growing area of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls County contracted with Okland to be the CM/GC of a 60,000 square foot expansion project. This was a complete remodel of the existing hospital and the addition of a new three-story, 165-bed wing and new quarters for surgery, emergency room, labs, ICU, CPU and physical therapy, as well as facelifts in nearly every department. Upgrades to the center’s infrastructure were completed along with a new central plant. Okland matched the new addition’s cladding system to the existing structure and expanded the center’s ability to add patient/visitor comfort via new décor and furniture via saving due to aggressive value engineering.
