This three-story hospital is a 74,000 square foot concrete and steel structure built within a fast-track project. The exterior of the structure is clad in a white cream brick cladding and is highlighted by architectural concrete features – an Okland specialty. The hospital contains a 46-bed medical/surgical unit, a four-bed ICU and a 19-room emergency department. The facility also features a large lobby and public reception area as well as administrative offices. To accommodate the high rate of growth in the southern end of the Salt Lake Valley, the hospital’s site and infrastructure work included the preparation of space for additional expansions within the campus in accordance to the owner’s master-plan.
